The four-day Regional Training on Climate Mobility for Policymakers, Local Authorities, and Practitioners concluded on 24 October 2026 in Watamu, Malindi, Kenya.
The programme concluded with a review of key lessons, closing discussions, and a recognition ceremony. Participants from eight Eastern African countries received Certificates of Participation, while trainers received Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their expertise, commitment, and valuable contributions.
In their closing remarks, Dominic Gudana of PanAfricare and John Ajjugo of HoA-REC&N highlighted how the capacity-building sessions are helping build a critical mass of stakeholders equipped to address environmental and climate challenges across Eastern Africa.
