Interim President of Addis Ababa University, Dr. Samuel Kifle, together with Prof. Tileye Feyisa, Dean of the College of Natural and Computational Sciences, Dr. Matiwos Ensermu, head of the President’s office affairs, Dr. Zerihun Getaneh, head of the AAU board office affairs, have paid a working visit to the Horn of Africa Regional Environment Center and Network office at GBG, and held a fruitful discussion with the Center staff on the current status and future direction of the Center and Network. Prof. Mekuria Argaw, the Executive Director of the Center, on his part presented an overarching overview of the institutional structure, governance, achievements and future plans of the Center to the visiting guests. Dr. Samuel concluded the meeting with a clear direction on the way forward in supporting and strengthening the Center in the framework of the transition of AAU into an autonomous University.
