Assignment Title: Terminal evaluation of the Integrated Land use and Development plan for Gambella People National Regional State (GPNRS)
AAU The Horn of Africa Regional Environment Center & Network (AAU HoA-REC&N) has received financing from Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) toward the cost of the development of capacity for implementers and facilitators of the Integrated Land Use Development Plan (ILDP) in Gambella People’s National Regional State (GPNRS), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
AAU HoA-REC&N is a peculiar regional organization established to bridge the gap between policy, knowledge and practice in environmental matters of the Horn of Africa region. The organization is serving as a regional multi-stakeholder platform of knowledge exchange whereby academia, policy-decision makers and practitioners convene to promote environmental conservation and natural resources management as well as facilitating collaboration, strengthening and advocating for sustainable development and environmental governance across the Horn of Africa.
As part of the effort to support the most vulnerable community, and to ensure sustainable development, AAU HoA-REC&N with its partners is executing the ILDP for Gambella People’s National Regional State program to help the regional government of Gambella to overcome these gaps and challenges. A number of teams, composed of research scientists in different disciplines have established and have been working in selected thematic areas to support for the development of an integrated land use and development plan of the Region. Hence, several thematic maps of the land use type and database have been developed; indicating the location of technical and social infrastructure from their respective studies outputs.
AAU HoA-REC&N wants to engage interested and eligible consulting firm for the purpose of ILDP terminal evaluation consultancy service through open bid process.
Interested eligible firms may obtain a complete set of bidding document up on payment of non-refundable fee of ETB 200.00 (two  hundred birr) at the address below from 9:00AM to 5:00PM (Monday to Friday).
Bidders shall submit sealed original and copy of Technical and Financial Proposal separately marked with the official stamp of the company to the address stated below on or before 02 October 2023, at 2:00PM. Late bid shall not be acceptable.
The Bid (Technical proposal) will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on 02 October 2023, at 2:00PM at the address below.  
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of total amount ETB 10,000.00 (ten thousand) prepared in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee with the name AAU The Horn of Africa Regional Environment Centre & Network. Further information can be obtained from our website: www.hoarec.org
