A project on nutrient management in mixed smallholder farms in East-Africa. We aim to restore the soil productive capacity through on-site research on nutrient management and supply chains of fertilizers, preparation of soil based fertilizer recommendation, introduction of best practices at farm level and farm decision support systems on optimal nutrient allocation strategies.

We have selected 5 sites in Ethiopia and 4 sites in Kenya, which represent a matrix of high and low agricultural potential areas and high and low market access.
